Jesus,
As the seasons change from summer to autumn, let not our eyes grow blind and our ears become dull to Your presence, Lord. Help us to pursue You in the secret place each and every day, anticipating Your great and awesome love that eclipses every worry and fear that we may have about our present and future. Heal the wounds of yesterday, Lord, and cause us not to regret the beauty that it has been produced in us or has yet to be produced in us according to 2 Corinthians 7:11. Lead us into godly repentance, and forgive and comfort us so that we may not be swallowed up in sorrow, Amen! Help us to forgive those around us, who have sinned as well, and to comfort those who express godly repentance toward You and others. May we example Christ’s love in hopes of You restoring him or her in the faith. Thank You for Your goodness and Your mercy in this! We eagerly await You filling us to the full and overflowing with Your abundant and restorative love. Let us always lay bare our hearts to You, in anticipation that every wound will be healed and every lack will be provided for in abundance. Thank You, Father! In Jesus’s Name, Amen.
